FLASH YOUR IPHONE 4 TO CRICKET, PAGEPLUS, METRO PCS

I've flashed my brothers iphone 4 to Pageplus , Cricket & Metro pcs , and would like to share some info that will help others to do the same without hacing to spend $80+.

First you need to Jailbreak your iphone 4

How to Jailbreak iPhone 4S, 4, 3GS 5.1.1 with Absinthe 2.0

Step 1

We assume that you’ve read the IMPORTANT part above and your iPhone is running iOS 5.1.1.
Connect your iPhone to your computer and backup your personal data. to do that; Open iTunes, right click on the device listed on the left pane, and click Backup.

Step 2

• Now go to Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings.
• Remove any Passcodes or VPN settings.

This helps in making the jailbreak process fast and convenient.

Step 3

Run the Absinthe 2.0.1 jailbreak and Plug your iPhone to your computer;
Absinthe should detect it, now hit the jailbreak button.

Step 4

Absinthe jailbreak is completed automated. Just sit back while Absinthe performs various jailbreak steps on your iPhone such as: beginning jailbreak, sending initial jailbreak data, sending final jailbreak data, waiting for reboot, and waiting for process to complete.

Your iPhone may appear to be restoring from backup, that’s fine. Just be patient and do not disconnect your device.
Absinthe will prompt you as soon as the jailbreak process is completed. The sweet Cydia icon will be resting on your iPhone Springboard.

Enjoy! You’ve successfully jailbroken your iPhone 4S, 4, 3GS on iOS 5.1.1 with Absinthe jailbreak. After jailbreak you can restore your iPhone with the backup. To do that connect your iPhone to iTunes, right click on your device under the ‘Devices’ menu in the left panel of iTunes and click ‘Restore from Back Up…’, select the latest backup.

Once phone is booted back up , Go to Cydia / Manage / Sources And add this Source

This source is for Cricket Users  

Once added go to the source and install the CommCenterPatch & Cricket Carrier Bundle , 

( after adding these it will ask to reboot , do so.) 

Once your done you can manually program your phone , 

Sprint = ##626 Send SPC is defaulted to 000000 ( Six0's )

Verizon = Have not tested but try ##626 Send SPC is defaulted to 000000 ( Six0's )



* This Source seems to be the only one that sets the SPC to 000000, and enables the NAM menu or Programming menu. So install this Source, along with the CommCenterPatch & Cricket Carrier Bundle, Then once phone reboots , Program the phone with your
 
MDN- Phone Number  

MIN - Mobile Identification Number.

Click Done

If your a cricket User , your done iphone 4 should work. Calls & Text.



NOTE:  If your trying to flash to Cricket, Pageplus or Metro Pcs , Make sure to write down your MDN & MIN. The main thing here is to write the NAM settings / Program your iphone 4 with your MDN/MIN to the iphone 4.  

For pageplus & metro pcs customers, dont worry about the Source, along with the CommCenterPatch & Cricket Carrier Bundle at this momment go ahead and program your iphone 4 with your pageplus or metro pcs , MDN/MIN and continue reading below ......

** Proceed with this step if you want to flash your iphone 4 to either Pageplus, or Metro Pcs. Now that the correct information is programmed on the iphone 4 ( MDN & MIN ) , 

Dont Worry , removing the source , and packages will not change your MDN/MIN.

Go ahead and remove the Cricket Carrier Bunddle, CommcenterPatch, & Myrepospace Source 

(If Requested to Reboot through out the steps, do so )

Now ADD the new source Listed Below  --->>> and follow those steps.

If you want to flash your iphone to Pageplus Or Metro Pcs - This (source also has Cricket )

Add this Source   

Go to Cydia / Manage / Sources And add this Source

Once added go to the source and install the CommCenterPatch , & you can add the Carrier PRL that you desire to flash. 


 ( after adding these it will ask to reboot , do so.) 

 

 Phone should be working , talk & text , 


- For Metro Pcs you can find people on craigslist , ebay that can add your esn to their data base Which runs about $30 to do . -

For Cricket , you can call customer service to activate your iphone 4 ( bad esn ok ) with no problem.

For Pageplus , Verizon iphone 4 (clean esn ), you have to call customer service to activate your phone , 

Sprint Iphone 4 ( bad esn ok ) you can just take it to any dealer or call CS to activate your iphone 4 with no problem .
